This is a private event for first responders. The event will be held at the Center for the Arts. Doors open at 5:30, presentation begins at 6:00pm. Pizza and social hour is from 8:00 - 9:00pm. FREE.
This workshop is designed to educate participants on the types and effects of stress that confront professionals who serve in stressful occupations. e course employs hands-on, reality based examples that are both useful and enlightening. Participants will be provided with the necessary tools to recognize and understand the signs and symptoms of stress, to recognize the types of incidents that will need follow-up care, and effective ways for managing stress.
