Hello Friends of Search & Rescue!
Please join us to celebrate the opening of our new facility on Sunday, July 8th from 5-7pm. We’re now located just under a mile north from the Albertson’s intersection, on the righthand side of the road. If you get to the Spring Gulch Road, you’ve gone too far!
TCSAR now has a fitting home for safekeeping of our our critical equipment, and appropriate space to train our volunteers while operating for rescues from one location. Thanks to the generous financial support from private donors, as well as state and community grants, and many volunteer hours, we completed the facility in just over 18 months. We’re excited to share our new space with the community at the Open House. Come for the food and drink, and stay for the demonstrations of our equipment and the stories of rescues.
Please spread this invitation far and wide – everyone is invited! A formal ribbon cutting ceremony will occur at 5:45pm with comments from dignitaries and Jesse Stover, a mountaineer rescued just one year ago. Please do carpool as parking will be extremely limited. Directions and more information can be found on our website,
www.tetoncountysar.org. We looking forward to seeing you on the 8th!
